1. Bronius Akstinas Glimpses of Lithuania 1978 p163 Composer Balys Dvarionas (1904-1972) is the author of symphonies, chamber music and the opera Dalia . The latter depicts the tragedy of a Lithuanian girl against the background of the peasants ' struggle in the 18th century.
