Dactylaria Explained

Dactylaria is a genus of fungi belonging to an unknown family.[1] According to Wijayawardene et al. 2020; the genus was placed in order Helotiales genera incertae sedis.[2]

The genus was first described by Pier Andrea Saccardo in 1880,[3] [4] and the type species is designated as Dactylaria purpurella.

The genus has a scattered, cosmopolitan distribution.
