Dacryodes rugosa is a tree in the family Burseraceae. The specific epithet Latin: [[:wikt:rugosus|rugosa]] is from the Latin meaning 'wrinkled', referring to the leaflets.
Dacryodes rugosa grows up to 30m (100feet) tall with a trunk diameter of up to 40cm (20inches). The grey-white bark is smooth to scaly. The ovoid fruits measure up to 2.50NaN0 long.
Dacryodes rugosa grows naturally in Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia, Java and Borneo. Its habitat is lowland to hill mixed dipterocarp forests from sea-level to 900m (3,000feet) altitude.
