DTamil (stylized as Dதமிழ்) is an Indian pay television channel owned by Warner Bros. Discovery India. Launched on 1 April 2003. The channel is the separate Tamil dedicated channel of Discovery Channel formerly known as Discovery 12 and Discovery Tamil.[1] [2] The channel can be viewed on digital cable and satellite television in India. The channel is also available on its OTT services Discovery Plus.[3] [4]

History

On 1 October 2013 the channel rebranded itself with new logo and launched a programming line-up that includes 20 brand new programmes and six new seasons of popular shows.[5] [6]

On 17 April 2021 on the occasion of Tamil New Year the channel changed its logo to the latest one and introduced new shows.[7] [8] [9]
