DJ Alber Ensso (hy|Ալբերտ Կուրշուդյան, original name: Albert Kurshudyan; born May 30, 1999) is an Armenian DJ and music producer.[1]
Alber Ensso was born in Armenia on May 30, 1999, and grew up in the capital, Yerevan.
Alber started music classes at 10. At the age of 12, he started practicing Logic Pro, a digital audio workstation and MIDI sequencer software. In 2014, Albert graduated from Alexander Hekimyan Music School. He obtained his bachelor's degree in sociology from the Yerevan State University (YSU) in 2022.
DJ Alber Ensso presented his first single, "Easter Rhapsody"[2] on April 22, 2019, during a joint live show with Robert Babicz at the largest performance space of the Armenfilm movie studio, located in Yerevan, Armenia.[3] The performance sold out, with scalpers reselling tickets for much higher prices than the initial listings.[4] On July 11, 2019, for about two hours, DJ Alber Ensso's performed on the mountain of Aragats, at an altitude of 3,153 meters. The performance was registered in the "Book of heroes" – the Armenian analogue of the Guinness Book of Records.[5] In 2021, Alber moved to Dubai. He is the co-founder of the Vaga Music Label.[6] In 2022, he released the Alber Ensso Cyberpunk label, which was created alongside his team.[7] In November, he performed during the Formula 1 racing weekend in the UAE.[8] He also performed at the Kaynouna Festival in Dubai, which was attended by more than 3,000 people.[9] In 2023, he performed in the Odyssey Festival, another festival in Dubai.[10] In the same year, DJ Alber Ensso performed at the Sevan Writers House.[11]
Alber has been practicing karate for thirteen years. He won a bronze in the Armenia Karate Open Championship in 2014, and the first prize in the closed Armenia Karate Championship in 2015. Albert won a gold in the Armenia Karate Open Championship in 2016.
