Czukty is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kowale Oleckie, within Olecko County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland.[1]
It lies approximately 7km (04miles) south-west of Kowale Oleckie, 140NaN0 north-west of Olecko, and 1270NaN0 east of the regional capital Olsztyn. It is part of the region of Masuria.
Czukty was founded in 1560 by Mikołaj Czukta, who bought land to establish a village.[2] It was named after the founder. As of 1600, the population of the village was solely Polish.[2] In 1939, it had a population of 190.[2]
