Cryptocephalus downiei explained

Cryptocephalus downiei, or Downie's spotted leaf beetle, is a species of case-bearing leaf beetle in the family Chrysomelidae. It is found in North America. The specific epithet downiei honors American psychologist and coleopterist Norville Downie.^[1]
