Crotaphopeltis Explained
Crotaphopeltis is a genus of snakes in the family Colubridae.[1] The genus is endemic to Sub-Saharan Africa.

The following six species are recognized as being valid.[1]

A binomial authority in parentheses indicates that the species was originally described in a genus other than Crotaphopeltis.
