See main article: Cricket at the 2023 African Games. The women's cricket tournament at the 2023 African Games in Ghana took place from 7 to 13 March 2024.[2] The matches were played with Twenty20 International (T20I) status.[3] Eight teams participated in the event, with all the matches were held at the Achimota Oval fields in Accra.[4] South Africa was represented by an emerging side, and their matches were played without T20I status.[5]

Zimbabwe won a Super Over in the gold medal match against the South Africa emerging team after the match ended in a tie.[6] [7] Nigeria beat Uganda to claim bronze.[8] [9] Zimbabwe's Kelis Ndhlovu was named player of the tournament.[10]
