Notes and References

  1. It is unclear how many counts named Raymond ruled between Raymond Pons and William III, making the spouses of these women difficult to assign. Adelaide was mother of William III.
  2. Some guess to be Mayor Sánchez of Navarre, the daughter of Sancho III of Navarre, but it seems unlikely that such a prominent origin of the wife of Count Pons should not have been recorded in contemporary sources.
  3. Probably never occurred.
