Conor Gregory Miller (born October 5, 1995) is an American football quarterback for the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns of the German Football League (GFL).

Early life and college

Miller first attended the American Heritage School before transferring to Cypress Bay High School as a junior in 2013. In 2015, Miller was a walk-on at Florida Atlantic University, but then joined Mt. San Antonio College during the summer. He spent the 2016 season at El Camino College, where he was a starter in one of seven appearances and totaled 282 passing yards for two touchdowns with two interceptions. In 2017, he committed to Florida Atlantic University, where he started camps as a third-string quarterback and subsequently redshirted.[1] [2] Instead, he made headlines off the field when he thanked police officers working an FAU-Old Dominion game for their service.[3] [4] He also didn't see game action in 2018. Miller chose to forgo his last year of eligibility.[5]

Professional career

Cologne Crocodiles

Miller was invited to the Miami Dolphins pro day and participated in private workouts with the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills.[6] However, he was not signed.

Miller instead joined the Cologne Crocodiles of the German Football League (GFL) in late May 2019. In four games, he completed 61.1% of his passes for 718 yards and six touchdowns, though injury ended his season prematurely.[7] [8]

Graz Giants

Miller joined the Graz Giants for the 2021 Austrian Football League (AFL) season where he led the league in passing yards (2170) and passing touchdowns (23).[9] In the playoffs, the Giants were eliminated in the semifinals by the Vienna Vikings. Miller served as quarterback for Team USA at the ELF All-Star Game in October 2021.[10] [11]

Flash de La Courneuve

In the spring of 2022, Miller suited up for La Courneuve Flash in France.[12] He led Flash to win the French championship and reach the semifinals of the Central European Football League.

Leipzig Kings

On July 7, 2022, Miller signed with the Leipzig Kings of the European League of Football (ELF) to replace the injured Jordan Barlow during the 2022 season.[13] In his third game for the Kings, he suffered a season-ending injury to his shoulder and was released.[14] In total, Miller had been sacked ten times.

Barcelona Dragons

For the 2023 season, Miller was signed by the Barcelona Dragons Miller was named the ELF player of the week during the regular season with four touchdown passes and 394 yards passing in week two.[15] He succeeded Zach Edwards, who had led the league in passing yards the previous season.

Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns

On January 12, 2024, Miller signed with the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns of the German Football League.[16]

Personal life

Miller graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2020 with a degree in business management. His father, Chip Miller, attended University of Georgia and later was a linebackers coach at American Heritage High School, among other schools. Miller is involved with Austrian volleyball player Kora Schaberl.
