Commelina fasciculata explained

Comellina fasciculata is an herbaceous tropical plant native to Peru and belonging to the family Commelinaceae. It was described by Ruiz and Pavon in 1798.[1] It is particularly interesting because of its very high chromosome number (2n= 180),[2] one of the highest numbers among the Monocots.[3]
