Colonae (Hellespont) Explained

Colonae or Kolonai (grc|Κολωναί) was a town in the ancient Troad near Lampsacus on the Hellespont. It was founded by the Milesians.[1]

Its site is located about northwest of modern Beyçayırı, Turkey.
