Coccothrinax microphylla is a palm which is endemic to eastern Cuba.[1] Commonly known as the Dwarf plant, it is a tree or shrub that grows mostly in the wet tropical biome. It is not just an ornamental plant, its importance goes as far as the local ecosystem.[2] [3]
Henderson and colleagues (1995) considered C. microphylla to be a synonym of Coccothrinax pauciramosa.[4]
