Coccothrinax microphylla explained

Coccothrinax microphylla is a palm which is endemic to eastern Cuba.^[1] Commonly known as the Dwarf plant, it is a tree or shrub that grows mostly in the wet tropical biome. It is not just an ornamental plant, its importance goes as far as the local ecosystem.^{[2] [3]}

Henderson and colleagues (1995) considered C. microphylla to be a synonym of Coccothrinax pauciramosa.^[4]
