Clay Township is one of fourteen townships in Miami County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 889 (down from 844 at 2010[3]) and it contained 354 housing units.
Clay Township was organized in 1846.[4] It is named for statesman Henry Clay of Kentucky.[5]
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of, of which (or 99.92%) is land and (or 0.08%) is water.[3]
The township contains Climer Cemetery.
