Clarkson Valley is a city in St. Louis County, Missouri, United States. The population was 2,609 at the 2020 census.[3]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.75sqmi, of which 2.7sqmi is land and 0.05sqmi is water.[4]
Clarkson Valley is an affluent St. Louis suburb in the 63005 zip code. The Average Household income in and around the city was $257,536 in 2019, which was down from $269,606 in 2018 but up from $177,242 a decade earlier.[5]
As of the census of 2020, there were 2,609 people, 936 households, and 824 families living in the city. The population density was 966.3PD/sqmi. There were 911 housing units at an average density of 337.4/sqmi. The racial makeup of the city was 88.8% White, 1.3% African American, 4.0% Asian, 0.0% Pacific Islander, 0.8% from other races, and 4.4% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.3% of the population.
There were 936 households, of which 21.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 88.0% were married couples living together, 6.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 5.8% had a male householder with no wife present. The average family size was 2.96%
