Cioburciu (Russian: Чобручи|Choburchi, Ukrainian: Чобручі|Choburchi, Hungarian: Csöbörcsök) is a village in the Slobozia District of Transnistria, Moldova.[1] It has since 1990 been administered as a part of the breakaway Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR).

According to the unofficial census of 2004, the population of the village was 7,176 inhabitants, of which 6,214 (86.59%) Moldovans (Romanians), 457 (6.36%) Ukrainians and 436 (6.07%) Russians.[2]
