Churizhi (Persian: چوریژی) is a village in, and the former capital of, Shamshir Rural District of the Central District of Paveh County, Kermanshah province, Iran.[2] The capital has been transferred to the village of Shamshir.[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,858 in 456 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,413 people in 695 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 2,717 people in 833 households.[6]
