Christoph Marthaler is a Swiss director and musician.

Practice

Marthaler works in the style of avant garde theatre, such as Expressionism and Dada, including elements of Theatre of the Absurd.

Awards

In 1998, he was awarded the IV Europe Prize Theatrical Realities.^[1]
