Chong Keat Aun, (; born 14 February 1978) is a Malaysian film director and writer. His directorial debut The Story of Southern Islet won the Best New Director, FIPRESCI, NETPAC awards at the 57th Golden Horse Awards. [1] In 2023, Snow in Midsummer was shortlisted for Giornate degli Autori at the 80th Venice International Film Festival;[2] the film released in September 2023, received positive critical response.
