Chequiaraju,[2] [3] Chequiarajo,[4] or Checquiacraju[5] (possibly from Quechua, chiqlla green,[6] rahu snow, ice, mountain with snow)[7] is a mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru, about 5286m (17,343feet) high. It is situated in the Ancash Region, Carhuaz Province, Shilla District.[8] Chequiaraju lies northwest of Hualcán and the lake Chiqllaqucha.
