Chionanthus callophylloides grows as a tree up to 13m (43feet) tall, with a trunk diameter of up to 25cm (10inches). The bark is brown. Fruit is blue green, ellipsoid up to 3cm (01inches) long. Its habitat is lowland mixed dipterocarp forest, sometimes in swamps. C. callophylloides is endemic to Malaysian Borneo (Sabah and Sarawak).
