The eighth season of Chicago Med, an American medical drama television series with executive producer Dick Wolf, and producers Michael Brandt, Derek Haas, Peter Jankowski, Andrew Schneider and Diane Frolov, was ordered on February 27, 2020.^[1] The season premiered on September 21, 2022 and concluded on May 24, 2023. The season contained 22 episodes.This season marks the final appearances by Chief Of The ED Ethan Choi portrayed by Brian Tee and Doctor Will Halstead portrayed by Nick Gehlfuss.
