Chencun Station is a station of Guangzhou Metro Line 7, located underground on the south side of the intersection of Chencun Avenue and Baichen Road in Chencun Subdistrict, Shunde District, Foshan, Guangdong Province, China.[1] The station was opened on May 1, 2022, with the opening of the western extension of Line 7.[2] [3]
The station concourse is one of the featured themed stations on the western Shunde extension of Line 7, with the theme "The First Land of Enlightenment, Thousand Years of Flowers". To show the characteristics of Chencun Town's "Millennium Flower Township", the station is decorated with the elements of Chencun Cymbidium, including the bright colors of the walls and columns and the petal lines of the ceiling. As Chencun Town is the birthplace of the author of Three Character Classic, the station displays some of its classic sentences.[4] [5]
