Chelsea is a town in Faulk County, South Dakota, United States. The population was 19 at the 2020 census.[4]
The town was named after Chelsea, London, perhaps via Chelsea, Massachusetts.[5]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.32sqmi, all land.[6]
The town was founded in 1906.
As of the census[7] of 2010, there were 27 people, 13 households, and 8 families residing in the town. The population density was 84.4PD/sqmi. There were 15 housing units at an average density of 46.9/sqmi. The racial makeup of the town was 100.0% White.
