Chelonipus Explained

Chelonipus is a trace fossil ichnogenus attributed to turtles and testudines. Chelonipus ichnospecies are known from the a number of locations including the Early Triassic of Wyoming and Utah, Late Jurassic Morrison Formation, the Late Paleocene-Early Eocene Chuckanut Formation, and the Eocene of Texas.^[1]
