    Personal life

    Kent was born on 18 June 1853 in London to Frederick Kent, an Englishman, and Martha Kent, a French woman. He came to the United States in 1875 at the age of 23, and died on May 21, 1923, after a long-lasting illness, and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery.[2] [3]

    Career

    Kent was "a veteran stage actor" before he began working in films[4] having been on stage for 50 years. He began working with Vitagraph Studios in 1908.

    Death

    Kent died on May 21, 1923, in a hospital in Brooklyn, aged 69.[5]
