Chanikarn Tangkabodee (Thai: ชนิกานต์ ตังคบดี, born 20 February 2004), also known as Prim (Thai: พริม), is a Thai actress. She is best known for her roles in (2020), (2021–2022), and Enigma (2023).
Chanikarn was born in Bangkok, Thailand and is of Chinese descent. She has been in the entertainment industry ever since she was a child, appearing in several commercials.
In 2022, Chanikarn graduated from Chulalongkorn University Demonstration School. She is currently pursuing post-secondary education at Chulalongkorn University, studying at the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn Business School.[1] [2]
Chanikarn's first acting opportunity was in the film Chiang Khan Story, in which she was cast as the young version of the female lead.[3] From 2014 to 2019, she continued to take on guest roles in several projects, such as Luerd Ruk Toranong (2016), U-Prince: The Handsome Cowboy (2016) and Love Destiny (2018).[4] [5]
Chanikarn officially signed with GMMTV as an actress in 2019, and went on to play a supporting role in Blacklist.[6] In 2020, she took on her first leading role in ,[7] followed by a prominent supporting role in (2021–2022), which brought her international recognition.[8] [9]
In 2022, she starred in the anthology series Good Old Days, in story 6: Somewhere Only We Belong alongside Perawat Sangpotirat.[10]
In July 2023, Chanikarn returned as the female lead for the thriller-horror series Enigma. She is also set to appear in the romantic comedy series Because You Are My First Love, a remake of the popular Chinese series A Love So Beautiful.[11]
Chanikarn has collaborated with many luxury houses, some of which include Dior, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Versace, Bulgari,[12] [13] [14] [15] and has become an endorser for brands like Shein and Doctorlogy.[16] [17] She's also often featured in prominent fashion magazines such as L'Officiel, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, and Vogue.[18] [19] [20] [21]
