Chamaesphecia proximata is a moth of the family Sesiidae. It is found in Serbia and Montenegro, Bulgaria, the Republic of Macedonia, Albania, Greece, Cyprus,[1] Asia Minor, Armenia, Lebanon and Iraq.
The larvae feed on Salvia sclarea.[2]
