Chakyr 2-y (Russian: Чакыр 2-й; Yakut: Иккис Чакыр, İkkis Çakır) is a rural locality (a selo), the only inhabited locality, and the administrative center of Chakyrsky Rural Okrug in Amginsky District of the Sakha Republic, Russia, located 15km (09miles) from Amga, the administrative center of the district.[3] Its population as of the 2010 Census was 579,[4] down from 686 recorded during the 2002 Census.
