Cerithideopsis Explained

Cerithideopsis is a genus of medium-sized sea snails or mud snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Potamididae, the horn snails. ^[1]

This genus was previously considered a subspecies of Cerithidea Swainson, 1840
