The Central District of Lordegan County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان لردگان) is in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Lordegan.[2]

History

After the 2011 National Census, Sardasht Rural District was separated from the district in the establishment of Rudasht District, which was divided into two rural districts, including the new Dudera Rural District.[3]

In August 2018, Armand Rural District and Khanmirza District were separated from the county in the formation of Khanmirza County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Aluni as its capital and only city.[4]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 census, the district's population was 96,483 in 18,689 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 110,807 people in 25,084 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 105,538 in 27,364 households.[7]
