The Central District of Larestan County (fa|بخش مرکزی شهرستان لارستان) is in Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Lar.[2]
History
After the 2006 National Census, the village of Latifi was elevated to the status of a city,[3] and in 2017, the village of Dehkuyeh rose to city status.[4]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 census, the district's population was 87,988 in 20,633 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 106,511 people in 26,167 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 104,146 inhabitants in 30,003 households.[7]
