The Central District of Farashband County (fa|بخش مرکزی شهرستان فراشبند) is in Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Farashband.[2]

History

After the 2006 National Census, the village of Nujin was elevated to the status of a city.[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 census, the district's population was 30,817 in 6,739 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 32,565 people in 8,259 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 35,576 inhabitants in 9,806 households.[6]
