The Central District of Ashkezar County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان اشکذر) is in Yazd province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Ashkezar.[2]
History
In July 2019, the Rezvanshahr neighborhood of Ashkezar was separated to form the new city of Majumard.[3]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 22,200 in 6,037 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 24,709 people in 7,330 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 28,019 inhabitants in 8,573 households.[6]
