Cene (Bergamasque: Scé) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 60km (40miles) northeast of Milan and about 15km (09miles) northeast of Bergamo.

Cene borders the following municipalities: Albino, Bianzano, Casnigo, Cazzano Sant'Andrea, Fiorano al Serio, Gaverina Terme, Gazzaniga, Leffe.

Paleontology

Fossil specimen of Late Triassic pterosaur MPUM 6009 was found in Upper Triassic (Norian) deposits of Cene. According to Dalla Vecchia, this specimen belongs to the species Carniadactylus rosenfeldi.[2]
