Catholic Church in Seychelles explained

The Catholic Church in Seychelles is part of the worldwide Catholic Church, under the spiritual leadership of the Pope.

In 2020, there are around 75,000 Catholics in the Seychelles - almost 76.2% of the total population.[1] There were 28 priests and 49 nuns serving across 20 parishes.[2]

Seychelles forms a single diocese - the Diocese of Port Victoria. In 2023, the Bishop of Port Victoria is Alain Harel.[3] [4]
