The Catalonia Open is a WTA 125-level professional women's tennis tournament. It takes place on outdoor clay courts, in the month of April or May at various locations in the region of Catalonia in Spain. The first edition was staged at the Club Tennis Reus Monterols in the city of Reus in Tarragona in 2023 with plans to host the tournament in other clubs in the region in order to promote women's tennis.[1] [2] [3] The prize money is $115,000. The tournament director is former top 100 player Laura Pous Tió.
