Caryocolum repentis explained

Caryocolum repentis is a moth of the family Gelechiidae. It is found in Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia[1] and Russia (the southern Ural).[2]

The length of the forewings is 5mm5.5mm for males and 4.5mm5mm for females.[3]

The larvae feed on Gypsophila repens. Young larvae mine the leaves of their host plant. Larvae can be found from May to late June.[4]
