Carlos Javier López (born March 19, 1980, in Rosario, Argentina), better known as Javier López, is a former Argentine footballer.
A product of Newell's Old Boys,[1] López started his career with Deportes Concepción in the Chilean top division.[2] [3]
Besides Argentina, he developed his career in Chile, Mexico, Switzerland with Liechtensteiner club FC Vaduz, Italy, Bolivia, Venezuela[4] [5] and India.[2]
In October 2015, López signed for NorthEast United FC in the Indian Super League, as a replacement for the injured Kondwani Mtonga, until the end of the season.[6]
On 1 January 2016, López returned to Deportivo Anzoátegui.[7]
He prefers to be named by his middle name, Javier.[2]
