Carissa (grc|Κάρισσα), also called Garsi, was a town of the Trocmi in ancient Galatia, Anatolia, located between Etonea and Amasya.[1] It was inhabited during Roman and Byzantine times.
Its site is located near Elvan Çelebi, Asiatic Turkey.
