Canwick Hill[1] [2] is a hill and suburb[3] [4] of Lincoln in Lincolnshire, England. It is split between the City of Lincoln and North Kesteven Districts. The name of the hill is taken from the nearby village of Canwick which is directly up the hill and forms part of the boundary between the Lincoln and North Kesteven districts.[5] It is on the B1198 and B1190 roads. It climbs a steep incline and gradient of roughly 14.2%.[6] The hill has a few residential houses spread alongside it and is mostly urban with patches of greenbelt and recreation grounds forming its boundary with Lincoln.[7] There is also a petrol station,[8] a restaurant called the "Mill Lodge"[9] and the International Bomber Command Centre.[10]
