Canton of Gif-sur-Yvette explained

The canton of Gif-sur-Yvette is an administrative division of the Essonne department, Île-de-France region, northern France. Its borders were modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Gif-sur-Yvette.^[1]

It consists of the following communes:^[1]

4. Gif-sur-Yvette
5. Gometz-la-Ville
6. Les Molières
7. Pecqueuse
8. Saclay
9. Saint-Aubin
