Canton of Châtellerault-1 explained

The canton of Châtellerault-1 is an administrative division of the Vienne department, western France. It was created at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Châtellerault.^[1]

It consists of the following communes:^[1]

3. Lencloître
4. Naintré
5. Ouzilly
6. Saint-Genest-d'Ambière
7. Scorbé-Clairvaux
8. Thuré
