Canton of Briançon-1 explained

The canton of Briançon-1 is an administrative division of the Hautes-Alpes department, in southeastern France. It was created at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Briançon.[1]

It consists of the following communes:[1]

    1. Cervières La Grave
  2. Le Monêtier-les-Bains
  3. Puy-Saint-André
  4. Puy-Saint-Pierre
  5. Saint-Chaffrey
  6. La Salle-les-Alpes
  7. Villar-d'Arêne
  8. Villar-Saint-Pancrace
