Cameroon worm lizard explained
The Cameroon worm lizard (Cynisca schaeferi) is a species of worm lizard in the family Amphisbaenidae. The species is endemic to Cameroon.
Etymology
The specific name, schaeferi, is in honor of German zoologist Hans Schäfer who collected the holotype.[1]
Description
The holotype of C. schaeferi, which is lost, measured 219mm in total length, including a tail 23mm long.[2]
Reproduction
C. schaeferi is oviparous.
