Callechelys springeri explained

Callechelys springeri, the ridgefin eel,[1] is an eel in the family Ophichthidae (worm/snake eels).[2] It was described by Isaac Ginsburg in 1951, originally under the genus Gordiichthys.[3] It is a marine, tropical eel which is known from the eastern Gulf of Mexico, in the western Atlantic Ocean. It dwells at a depth range of 22mto36mm (72feetto118feetm). Males can reach a maximum total length of 80.1abbr=NaNabbr=.[2]
