Calisto batesi explained
Calisto batesi is a butterfly of the family Nymphalidae. It is endemic to Hispaniola.[1]
The wingspan is 13mm15mm.
The larvae feed on various grasses.[2]
Taxonomy
It was formerly treated as a subspecies of Calisto hysius.
