- Byun Jang-ho's birthdate: movie.naver.com http://movie.naver.com/movie/bi/pi/basic.nhn?code=1812 gave the 1940 date in the introduction, but the text said he was born in 1935. Two articles said he was born in 1939 http://news.joins.com/article/2555807http://www.mygoyang.com/news/articleView.html?idxno=31889. However, Daum agrees with the 1940 birthdate http://movie.daum.net/movieperson/Summary.do?personId=308. All the news articles from when he was named to the National Academy of Arts in 2012 agree that he was 72 at the time http://news.kmib.co.kr/article/view.asp?arcid=0006217931&code=11110000&sid1=kimhttp://news.joins.com/article/8675448. Similarly he won an art award from Goyang City in 2007 and the article said he was 67 at the time http://www.kihoilbo.co.kr/?mod=news&act=articleView&idxno=265364&page=1223&total=25668. It seemed the 1940 date is more likely to be correct. Researched by User 58.176.246.42.
