João Carlos Lopes (born 18 March 1959), better known as Bugre, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a forward.[1]
Appearing as a revelation at the beginning of the 1980s, Bugre was hired by São Paulo FC in 1982 to replace Serginho Chulapa, who was on the Brazil national team. He was successful in football in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul and Portugal.[2] [3]
